We tested the Hub Tyxal+: what really changes compared with the previous generation

When Delta Dore presented the Hub Tyxal+ to us, our first question was what justified a new name. The CS 8000 worked well, and customers were happy with it. So why change?
After a few installations, the answer is clear: this is not the same category of product. Here's why.
The real change: 4G backup
It's the first thing we noticed on opening the box: a slot for a SIM card. The Hub Tyxal+ comes with a built-in 4G module.
What does this mean in practice? If your internet box fails — or if someone deliberately unplugs it — the alarm automatically switches over to the mobile network. Your alerts still reach your phone.
It's the kind of feature you don't notice day to day. But on the day it matters, it changes everything.
For our customers with a second home on the Vendée coast, this has become a decisive factor. The internet box is often unplugged between stays — with the Hub Tyxal+, the alarm stays permanently connected via 4G.
Harder to neutralise
Let's be honest: jamming attempts do exist. Some burglars use devices to disrupt the radio signal between the alarm control panel and the detectors. It's rare, but it happens.
The Hub Tyxal+ continuously monitors signal quality. If it detects an anomaly, it alerts you. The X3D radio protocol is encrypted with a unique code — impossible to intercept or duplicate.
And if someone tries to physically rip the unit off the wall? An immediate alert is triggered, even if the system is switched off.
The whole system is certified EN 50131 Grade 2 — the benchmark European standard. This isn't a marketing claim; it's a certification verified by an independent body.
What it can protect
The Hub is the brain, but it doesn't work alone. Around it, the whole Tyxal+ ecosystem comes together:
Outside — Motion detectors paired with the Tycam Guard camera. Siren, flash and intercom built in. The idea: to deter before anyone even gets in.
Inside — Door and window contacts on doors and windows, motion detectors, and the Tycam Home camera to see what's happening live. Useful for doubt clearance : knowing whether it's a genuine intrusion or just the cat.
Beyond intrusion — This is a point that's often overlooked: the Hub Tyxal+ also manages smoke, water leak and power cut detectors. A leak in the bathroom on a Sunday? You're alerted on your phone, even if you're 500 km away.
The Tydom app: the real control centre
With the latest version of Tydom, the physical keypad becomes optional. Everything is done from your smartphone: arming the alarm, checking the cameras, programming scenarios, viewing the history.
Something our customers particularly appreciate: no subscription. The app is free, the video platform is hosted in France, storage is local and encrypted. Far removed from monitoring services costing 30-50 €/month.
And if you already have Delta Dore equipment at home (shutters, heating, lighting), it all appears in the same app. One single place to control everything.
How does it actually work in practice?
We come to your home, go round the house, identify the vulnerable points. We then propose a configuration tailored to you — no standard package imposed.
Installation takes half a day. Everything is wireless: no cables, no drilling, no building work. We configure the app with you, check that everything works, and you're all set.
We work throughout the Vendée: La Roche-sur-Yon, Les Sables-d'Olonne, Challans, Fontenay-le-Comte, Les Herbiers… and all other towns.
Our view after the first installations
The Hub Tyxal+ is not a cosmetic revolution. The design has changed little, and the built-in siren already existed. What changes is the overall reliability of the system: 4G back-up, anti-jamming, X3D encryption, Grade 2 certification.
It's an alarm designed to withstand what burglars actually do in 2026, not what they did in 2015.

Does the Hub Tyxal+ work during a power or internet outage?
Yes. Thanks to its back-up battery and built-in 4G module, the Hub Tyxal+ continues to work and alert you even if the power or internet box is cut off.
Can the Hub Tyxal+ be jammed or hacked?
The system continuously monitors radio signal quality and alerts you in the event of any anomaly. Exchanges between the control panel and the detectors are encrypted using the X3D protocol with a rolling code unique to your installation: a captured command cannot be replayed.
How long does the Hub Tyxal+ take to install?
As the equipment is entirely wireless, installation takes half a day, with no cabling or drilling, and configuration tailored to your home.
